Hi! my name is Cory and I'm the owner of Primal State Wear! I am studying film and media production in college while balancing work and my creative passions. Clothing has always been the best way for me to express myself, and for the longest time I have dreamed of creating designs that I enjoy wearing, but also that others would enjoy wearing too!
The dream of making my own clothing felt impossible at first, that was until I combined the two things I love most. Animals and self-expression. I believe that specific animals can often reflect someone's best traits - the qualities that shape who they are.
For me, that animal is the turtle. I've always loved turtles. They're personable, calm and unique, But I also find that connecting with turtles on a deeper level has always been something unique to me: I can be shy and introverted in one moment, like hiding in the back of my shell, but then the next moment there's a part of me that doesn't hide and stays bold and
strong. And just like that old story always said, the tortoise always wins the race by taking things slow and steady, perfecting every move and keeping a focused mind. The growth may be slow, and things not perfect, but I am always doing what it takes to improve my skills and make things for others to enjoy more than the last!
That philosophy is the heart and core of Primal State: creating things that represents not just a cool style, but identity, traits, strengths, and energy that we show the world every day. My mission is to provide clothing that is afforable and high-quality, so everyone can enjoy the style and the meaning behind it.
